Terms of service

These terms cover GVNR: the plugins, the GVNR connector, the Enforcer account and workspace behind them, and this website. GVNR is made by Instruxi Limited (UK company number 13781404) and built on Enforcer. By creating an account or signing GVNR in, you agree to them. If you use GVNR for an organisation, you confirm you may agree for it.

1. What GVNR is

GVNR decides whether an AI agent's action may run before it runs, keeps a hash-chained record of those decisions and, with AI Multiplayer, gives a team one shared plan in every teammate's AI chat. The privacy notice explains what it collects.

2. The plugin's licence

The GVNR plugin's code is source-available under the FSL-1.1-ALv2 licence. That licence, not these terms, governs the code. These terms govern the hosted parts: your account, workspaces, the connector and the receipt record.

3. Your account and workspaces

Sign-up needs only an email address. A new account starts in the Public workspace until you join or create another.
Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what is done with it.
Whoever runs a workspace decides who is in it and which options are on, such as settings for every install, receipt shipping for everyone, or AI judgment. If you run a workspace for other people, you are responsible for telling them how you use it.

4. Working on a shared plan

What anyone writes on a plan, such as task titles, summaries and notes, is shown to everyone on it, in whichever AI app each person uses. Do not put secrets there, or anything you would not show your team.
The AI app you connect GVNR to is provided under its own terms. We do not control what that app or its model does with what it reads.
GVNR labels teammates' text as information, not instructions, for your AI. You remain responsible for what you ask your AI to do.

5. What GVNR does not promise

GVNR is a guard against accidents and runaway spend, not a sandbox. An agent with shell access can still interfere with its own guard, and pattern rules can be evaded. Against a deliberate adversary, isolate the agent.
Spend figures are GVNR's own measure, from Claude Code's cost figure or from the transcript at each model's price. Your model provider's bill is the one that counts, and it bills you as usual.
A limit stops only the agents GVNR governs. It cannot stop spending that happens outside them.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use GVNR to break the law or harm anyone; to probe, overload or break into our systems or anyone's workspace; to get round a limit, gate or billing control; or to put malware, or text meant to hijack someone else's AI, into a shared plan.

We may suspend an account or workspace that breaks this section, and will tell you why where we can.

7. Your data

You keep all rights in what you and your tools put into GVNR. You give us only the permission we need to run, secure, back up and support the service for you. Where we hold data for an organisation's workspace, we act on that organisation's instructions.

8. Fees

The GVNR plugin is free. Your model provider still bills you for model use. If a workspace plan has a price, it is shown before you pay, and payments are handled by Stripe.

9. Changes, availability and ending

We keep improving GVNR and may change or remove features. Where a change takes away something you rely on, we will give reasonable notice.
We aim to keep the service running but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. When it cannot be reached, the plugin's local rules still decide, so losing the network never allows more.
You can stop at any time. Run /enforcer-governor:telemetry off first, then /enforcer:login logout, and the plugin sends nothing more. /plugin disable enforcer-governor then turns it off in Claude Code; deleting ~/.enforcer-governor and ~/.enforcer removes what it kept.
We may suspend or end access for a serious breach of these terms, or where the law requires it.

10. Liability

GVNR is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or data, and our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the greater of £100 and what you paid us for GVNR in that time. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you use GVNR as a consumer, you keep your statutory rights.

11. Changes to these terms

We will post changes here with a new date. If a change is material, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect.

12. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts decide disputes, except where the law of the place you live as a consumer says otherwise. Questions: support@gvnr.io.
